Committed feminist and critical race scholar Aamanee Haq is about to start her first tenure-track job. She can't wait to dazzle her students with paradigm-shifting theories. But when prospective student Xavier Thorn requests a meeting, it’s hate-at-first-office-hours.  

 

Aamanee is outraged at the audacity of this privileged white CEO, who’s enrolled in her tutorial for the sole purpose of good corporate PR. 

 

Xavier’s take-charge entitlement infuriates Aamanee. Unfortunately, it also turns her on.
